Pre-school!
A very action packed week in Preschool this week! We’ve made delicious cookies, explored different textures in our tuff trays, enjoyed lots of water play, celebrated birthdays and made sure we had our sunnies on for this heatwave! 😎☀️🍪

Dinosaur week in preschool… we had a rawr-some time! 🤣🦖🦕
Scientists
We have been scientists in preschool this week, creating our own volcano eruptions! 🌋 🔥❤️
Space week
We had so much fun celebrating space week in preschool! We read ‘Whatever Next’ as our focus story, we made yummy banana bread, created telescopes to see the stars and made rocket ships to go to space.🪐⭐️👩🚀
Sensory.
The children in Daisy room today were using their fine motor skills as they explored gel underneath the cling film. We added gel, Pom poms and sequins and covered it all with cling allowing the children to focus on moving the little objects around using their fingers without the worry of them getting messy. Fruit mark making!
Daisy room have been exploring fruit and using tools to squash them as they make marks. The children were intrigued to see what colours came out of the fruit when they hit them with the hammer, and they also enjoyed tasting the fruit too as they played.
Pumpkin biscuits.
Daisy room loved making pumpkin biscuits with Michelle, exploring their senses as they added different ingredients to the bowl. The children enjoyed squashing and squeezing the dough as they mixed it all together and using the cookie cutters to cut out their biscuits.

Daisy room had lots of fun using the cars to make marks today in paint. The children really enjoy exploring different toys and how they work, and encouraging the children to use them in different ways only encourages that development.
