Preschool have been using natural resources to count. The children were able to use wooden sticks to represent the numbers on the cards. They have also been practising sharing resources with each other, such as reading books together. Preschool love reading books independently and will often read books together as a group, creating their own stories by using the pictures or repeating familiar phrases they know from the story. As well as sharing stories together and reading independently the children enjoy voting on what books we read as a group. Each child has their own stick character representing themselves. They then take it in turns to vote on which book they would like us to read. We are very much looking forward to taking part in World Book Day!
We would like to welcome everyone back after the Christmas break and hope you all had a fantastic New Year. We would like to thank you for your continued support and look forward to another great year!
