Garden fun

Tulips have enjoyed going for a scavenger hunt in the adventure Garden this morning. They were all very clever at placing them in their correct home environment! 🦕🦖🦒🦓🐅🐮

Under the sea board

Daisy room’s new Under the sea display board! We’ve done lots of activities throughout this week and the last couple of weeks and the children have loved seeing the different pieces of work being added to the board. They love the octopus when we turn the lights off as he lights up and there are even some sparkly fish hiding under the deep blue sea at the bottom. The board engages so many different senses for the children to explore.

Today in Tulips we have enjoyed a mindfulness day, we have made and played with energy slime. The children enjoyed making their breathing buddy cup we have done a 5senses game, we enjoyed yoga and kindness bubbles where each child said who their best friend was and why.

Mud kitchen

Babies have been outside in the rain this morning making mud pies in the mud kitchen! The babies loved the sensory experience of getting really muddy!

Shape sorting

Daisy room enjoyed sorting the shapes out for me on Thursday last week! I used sticky tape to make familiar shapes on the floor and gave the children a selection of different shapes to sort out and categorise. The children loved this activity and focussed well as they explored the shapes of different sizes and colours!

Feely feet

Feely feet activity today in baby room! The babies love sensory play, we knew that one little one really enjoys different textures on their feet so we all had a go! In the tray we had; shaving foam, hair gel, sugar, coca powder, icing sugar and a sensory bag full with water and sequins! once we had finished we mixed it all together to get really messy!
