Forest School

Preschool have loved taking part in our Forest School sessions! They have been involved in doing their own risk assessments, making dens, using tools to cut logs and making mud slides! They all enjoyed team building and helping their friends to overcome challenges.

Children in Need

Please join us in supporting Children in Need on Friday 15th November 2019. The children are all invited to dress up in pyjamas, their favourite fancy dress or a spotty top! We will also be holding a cake sale, so if you would like to donate any cakes or buy some, please pop into the office! The children will also be making cakes for the cake sale and taking part in Pudsey themed activities throughout the day. We look forward to raising money and having lots of fun!

The children have been very busy taking part in Halloween activities last week! In Bluebell room the children have been pumpkin tasting, playing in pumpkin goo, decorating biscuits and lots more! In the Daisy room the children have been exploring in jelly with spiders, making Halloween playdoh and having fun in the Halloween disco! In Poppy room the children have been enjoying pumpkin carving, making handprint spiders, making pumpkin rice cakes. In the Tulip room they have been dressing up in Halloween costumes, making pumpkin pie and pumpkin soup for tea. And in Sunflower room the children have been busy moving like spiders and bats, making ghosts with cotton wool and taking part in Halloween messy play with shaving foam and Halloween insects! All the children had a very busy week!

We have been celebrating Diwali! The children have been involved in trying Diwali sweets and tasting a range of Diwali foods. Sunflowers have also been making tealights, painting Diwali patterns and making candles. Tulips have been using coloured rice to decorate Diwali pictures. All of the children have had lots of fun!

Sue Ryder Fun Day!

A big thank you to all our families, staff, children and parents for supporting us at our recent Fun Day. We have raised a fantastic £1000 for Sue Ryder! We had lots of stalls, including a tombola, cake sale, raffle, hook a duck and steel drum performance to name a few!
