We had lots of fun in baby room today making Easter chicks with forks and yellow paint! The babies were very good at dabbing the forks into the paint and then dabbing them down onto the paper! We used forks instead of brushes to make them look extra fluffy!

Making Easter bunnies
We have really enjoyed making Easter bunnies today! Painting some paper plates and adding a nose, whiskers, ears and eyes!
Masking tape town
We made a town out of masking tape today! The children have had lots of fun driving around the town and visiting the different shops/ houses!
Easter egg hunt
We had a big Easter egg hunt out in the garden today! The Easter bunny left us some eggs, but he had hidden them all around the garden along with some laminated eggs too! The children were really good at finding all the eggs and putting them into the right baskets!
Easter sensory tray
Babies have had lots of fun playing with the sensory tray today! We put lots of different Easter related items in the tray such as sparkly eggs, chicks, and carrots! All hiding inside the shredded paper for the babies to find and explore!
Washing peppa pig
We played with some water play today! The children in nursery today love Peppa Pig so we decided to involve Peppa in the activity. we put lots of Peppa characters in the water with some glitter and paint brushes and showed the children how to was all the glitter off the Peppa pig characters. Chocolate Easter nests
We made some yummy chocolate Easter nests today with all the children at nursery! They helped us to put in all the ingredients and mix them all together with chocolate! The children were very good at finding some tasty mini eggs to put on top of their own cakes to take home to their families.
Gardening
Today we planted some vegetables. The children helped to dig out the soil, push the vegetables inside, and cover them up. We then went to get some water in the watering can together and sprinkle the water on top explaining to the children how it will help them to grow!
