On Friday 22nd of March the whole
nursery took part in a day to help raise money for Children with Arthritis.
The weather was good and everyone
went on a penguin treasure hunt. There was a cake bake sale and a raffle.
We were supporting one of our parents who is running
the London marathon. We were so happy to do this for such a good cause and
raised an amazing £420.
During the month of October the children had great fun with their ‘forest days’
They arrived wrapped up and stayed outside for the duration of the day.
Activities included den building, mud painting, vegetable digging, vegetable and fruit painting, a treasure hunt and of course, the best bit hot chocolate and whipped cream.
Everyone had such a great time and all slept well that night!
Cracking Capture our photographer is coming into nursery on Wednesday 30th May.
If your child does not attend on this day you are more than welcome to come along. As it is half term, siblings are welcome too.
They will be here from 9.30.
Pre school leavers will have a special photo.
Carly the Poppies room leader is organizing a muddy puddle walk in the grounds of the nursery to raise money for Save the Children. This will be held on Tuesday 24th of April.
All the children are invited regardless of days attended and all parents/carers are welcome too.
Come and join the fun. For times and further information please see Carly in the Poppy room.
