The children in Daisy room today were using their fine motor skills as they explored gel underneath the cling film. We added gel, Pom poms and sequins and covered it all with cling allowing the children to focus on moving the little objects around using their fingers without the worry of them getting messy. Although we love the children getting messy, this activity was focussing more intently on their fine motor skills rather than a sensory activity.
