Look at the work the children (with the help of Lisa) have done transforming an outdoor area into a hive of activity for digging, planting and growing and a dinosaur garden. If you look in the corner, you can see the bug hotel, we now await new arrivals!!
Tomatoes
We have been growing some tomatoes in the garden and they are now growing really big. We have been looking at them closely this morning and have noticed some baby tomatoes starting to grow!
Gardening
Our sunflowers have been growing really tall and now have lovely flowers on the top.
Preschool
Today we have been playing in the sensory tray. We used rice and pasta to make a pretend birthday cake. We used long pieces of pasta to stick in the top to make candles!

This morning we have been using our fingers to paint with, look at our lovely finger paintings! We used lots of colours to make them nice and bright and mixed some colours together to create new colours.

We have been looking at different textures this week. We have been looking at lots of different objects and describing the texture of them. Leaf kebabs
Today we have been making leaf kebabs in the garden! We used sticks and different coloured leaves.
2-3’s
The 2-3 children have been having lots of fun recently using their new story sacks. The children have enjoyed using the story sacks as props to act out the stories on their own.
Pre School
Pre School have been finding natural materials in the the garden to use for printing. Today we found lots of big leaves and used paint to print with them!
