The pre school children have been doing lots of painting outside in the garden today! They used lots of colours and different tools to make different marks on the page! The sun was shining today too so the artwork dried really quick!
Cloud dough
Corn flour and hair conditioner made this beautiful smelling dough today! We added some food colouring to make different pastel colours! The children loved feeling and smelling the soft dough, and enjoyed using the different tools to cut and shape the dough.
Small world sensory fun!
we are having lots of fun around the nursery today making some different small world scenes! One was a farm made with different shaving foam and paint mixtures. The other one was a beach made with real sand and water!
Dinosaur eggs
We had lots of fun helping hatch some dinosaur eggs today! They all contained a dinosaur and also a different mixture of things inside! Some had glitter inside, some toothpaste and some shaving foam! We managed to find all the dinosaurs and then cleaned them!
Sensory tray
The sensory tray we have made today had rice, feathers, lolly pop sticks, cups and more so that the children had all they needed to let their imagination run wild!
Painting rainbows!
The children have chosen all the different watercolours to use for their own rainbows today! We are making them for their families working as key workers on the frontline!
Moonsand
A mixture of flour and baby oil makes a soft but mouldable moonsand! The children have enjoyed making sand castles and different structures with the mixture today! Getting very messy!
Pirates!
The children in preschool loved this Treasure Island activity today! Finding the hidden treasure underneath the orange sand!
Making Easter chicks
We had lots of fun in baby room today making Easter chicks with forks and yellow paint! The babies were very good at dabbing the forks into the paint and then dabbing them down onto the paper! We used forks instead of brushes to make them look extra fluffy!
Making Easter bunnies
We have really enjoyed making Easter bunnies today! Painting some paper plates and adding a nose, whiskers, ears and eyes!
