In tulips this afternoon they had great fun getting messy! They loved using different tools to investigate what marks they would leave in the flour. They also had lots of fun with different coloured paint and using our fingers to write our name in the paint!
Jumping in muddy puddles
We love the rain at meadows because it makes big puddles to jump in! The preschool children loved being outside today in the storm!
Rainbow painting
We have done some painting today in baby room, making the most of our rainbow shaped table! The babies loved exploring the texture of the paint and shaving foam and mixing the colours together!
Bubble wrap painting
We had lots of bubble wrap left over from our bubble wrap feet painting, so we decided to paint it using brushes and different mark-making tools. The children loved the feel of the paint bumping over the bubble shape.
Shaving foam and animals
Shaving foam is always a great sensory experience for children to play with. We asked our little ones today what they wanted to put in the shaving foam and they replied asking for the animals!

Baking cakes

Natural resources sensory tray
What a fun sensory experience today, using all natural resources. The children loved feeling the different textures of the logs and pine cones.
Following the line
Pre-school have been doing a dot to dot activity today but with different patterned lines. The children dipped their fingers in paint and followed the pattern with their finger to try to replicate the same shaped line.
Water tracks
It is nice and sunny out again today so we thought we would use some cars to make tracks using water on the dry floor! The children found a car they liked, rolled it in the water and then took it to the dry floor to watch the tracks being made.
